Earlier this year, NBTC club member-leaders Bruce Manion, Bill Russell, and Carol Taylor led a series of youth hikes at the invitation of Jessica Ferroni, Education Director for St. John’s Presbyterian Church Youth Camp in Grimsby ON. Three hikes with groups of 9-10 children, drawn from Grades 2 to 8, went up the Bruce Trail to the heights of Beamer Park and back. The children — and their companion adults and highschool minders — enjoyed the hikes immensely. The children (and the Education Director) sent the NBTC club a sheaf of ‘Thank-you’ notes.
