Hike this historic 80km section of the Bruce Trail over three days (from Grimsby to Queenston). Enjoy panoramic views of vineyards, orchards and Lake Ontario. Rocky sections, heavily wooded areas, remnants of historic settlements and the Welland Canal – the Niagara section has it all. The hike takes place ‘rain or shine’ and is self guided.
Check-in is 6:45am of each hike day. The bus will take you to the beginning of the hike and you will follow the white blazes along the trail back to your car. Hikes take between 5 and 7 hours depending on your pace and trail conditions.
Upon completion of this event you will have earned the coveted Niagara End-to-End badge. This is a great way to complete a section of the Bruce Trail. No planning on how you are going to get back to your car or how much water or food you have to bring. It is suggested that you carry some water and a snack as everyone’s needs are different. There will be check points along the way so you can refresh, refill and refuel. You will find yourself hiking by yourself for a while and then hiking with like-minded enthusiasts, forging friendships and creating memories. Sign-up today!
