Event hikes allow you to hike longer distances without having to carry a lot of supplies or do a lot of driving.  The club provides a bus to take you to the beginning of the hike.  These self-led hikes are clearly marked.  You hike back to your car.  Along the way there are check points providing a light snack and refreshments.  As everyone's nutrition needs are different, we still recommend that you carry water and a light snack.  Once you have completed an event hike, you will be rewarded with a badge.  The cost of the badge, bus and refreshments are included in the nominal fee.

Please note:

If you are new to hiking, these events are not recommended.
Instead, please refer to our calendar for a selection of hikes ranging from 1.5 hrs to 4 hrs.
All registrations close 24 hours before the event.
No REFUNDS and no transfers for registration fees.
No dogs allowed on Event Hikes.
